This was a busy couple of weeks, and I've really been slacking with my blog posting. My other blog has suffered even more than this one! Last week I got my oldest daughter graduated from high school. It's sort of an odd feeling. I guess it's not really upsetting in any way. I'm excited for her. I'm happy she's doing so well. But surprisingly, I don't feel any older or anything like that. Maybe because I still have two who aren't grown yet. My youngest will be around for quite a few years yet.
My in-laws came down from Washington for the graduation. That went about as I expected it to. We still don't see eye to eye on how I live my life. We never will. But that's just the way it is. We hardly said two words the whole time they were there. And maybe that's just all you can expect. It's better than screaming at each other.
Deb and I took the rest of the week off after the graduation. It was nice to have a rest. Unfortunately, when we went back to work the summer heat had struck. The last few days have been high 100s.
Today Melinda will register for college. Wow...
